What personal data do we process?
- When you email us: your name, email address, phone number if you share it, your organisation and job title, and the content of your message.
- When you visit our website: access logs kept by our hosting provider to run the service securely (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser details).
Our website has no contact form, accounts or visitor statistics, and it does not use cookies. See our cookie policy for details.
Why do we process it?
- To answer your enquiry,
- to prepare quotes and carry out the contract process,
- to keep business correspondence for the period required by law,
- to keep the website secure.
Legal grounds
Your personal data is processed on the following grounds in Article 5(2) of Law No. 6698:
- (c) the conclusion or performance of a contract,
- (ç) compliance with our legal obligations (keeping business correspondence under Article 82 of the Turkish Commercial Code),
- (f) our legitimate interests (managing enquiries and keeping the website secure).
We do not ask for your explicit consent to answer an enquiry.
How is it collected?
Through the emails you send us, and automatically by the infrastructure that hosts our website.
Who do we share it with?
- Our email service provider,
- our hosting and security provider,
- our accountant,
- competent public authorities when legally required.
The servers of our email and hosting providers may be located outside Türkiye. Your data may therefore be processed on servers abroad, solely so that these services can be provided.
How long do we keep it?
Correspondence that leads to a business relationship is kept for ten years under Article 82 of the Turkish Commercial Code. Other enquiries are deleted after one year.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698 you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose,
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred,
- request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
- request erasure or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of the Law,
- request that third parties who received it are notified of any correction, erasure or destruction,
- object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis,
- claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.
How to apply
You can send your request with a secure electronic or mobile signature, or from the email address you previously gave us and that is on our records, to iletisim@usys.com.tr. If you would like to apply in writing, you can ask us for our postal address at the same address. We respond free of charge within thirty days at the latest.
